Company Overview
Established in July 1992 and headquartered in Macau, the Group is one of the leading network solution providers in the PRC, specialising in DDN, Frame Relay, ATM and IP technologies. The Group provides fully integrated services ranging from provision of networking equipment to network planning, design, installation and implementation as well as after-sales maintenance and technical support to public telecommunications service providers and enterprises in Mainland China and Macau markets. Vodatel's customer base in the PRC now includes China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile, all of which under the administration of MII, and enterprise customers such as electricity bureaus, police and army and cable TV operators.
Besides its Hong Kong office, the Group currently operates (i) eleven representative offices in major cities in the PRC, namely Beijing, Changchun, Changsha, Guiyang, Hangzhou, Jinan, Nanchang, Shanghai, Shenyang, Xian and Zhengzhou; and (ii) a subsidiary in Guangzhou to strengthen the Group's relationship network and to provide technical support.
To improve the front-line services, the Group has put in place a general 24-hour hotline centre in Zhuhai and a service hub in Guangzhou to provide nationwide backup support to clients. The training centre set up in Guangzhou provides training to the engineers of the Group and its carrier customers to excel their domain knowledge in the design and management of networks, product and technology knowledge and network maintenance.
