Techlink was found in 2002, which started as a local sales and technical representative of Johnson Controls in the region of Macau aiming at the BMS (Building Management System) market which was expected to expand with the upcoming Hotel and Commerical Development after Macau opened its Gaming Industry to foreign investors. Besides being a representative, Techlink also involved in system installation in order to provide full line services upon request.
As we began to provide prompt and timely services to the old customers of Johnson Controls in Macau, it also discovered the potential markets of other ELV systems such as Surveillance and Security Systems are highly demanded by nowadays Hotel and Casino Designs while meeting with prospective clients.
Being aware of the market trend on the ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems, in the mid of 2003, we had also decided to take off on our development in the area and had recruited qualified personnel to strengthen its organization to target at the market. With the solid contracting experience of the company’s top management in the engineering field, we had competently completed several projects involving both design and installation of CCTV and Access Control Systems.
Along with our progress in the area of ELV systems, we continued to expand our project management and technical teams in order to meet the market demands in all engineering aspects resulting from the rapid development of Macau. In 2004, we were contracted as an E & M project manager for the renovation work at one of the most prestigious Macau’s landmarks, Macau Tower, managing and supervising all the E & M installations which includes Air Conditioning, Electrical, Plumbing & Drainage and Fire Service systems as well as BMS system.
