Responsibilities:
l Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations of the restaurant including staff training, budget control and daily administration.
l Establish and execute a food concept, continuously change and enhance the food service through introduction of menu, considering culinary trends and fashions.
l Plan and be responsible for and accountable for the departmental operating budget.
l Ensure hygiene standards are kept at all times.
l Achieve excellence for food production by training and coaching team members for continuous product enhancement.
Requirements:
l At least 6 years’ relevant experience in similar position in a reputable hotels or upscale chain restaurants.
l Solid knowledge in Portuguese cuisine.
l Strong knowledge in menu planning, food cost control and food safety standard.
l Creative, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
