| JOB DESCRIPTION AND ROLE SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced Deputy Design Manager to assist the Design Manager on all design related matters for a large scale project in Macau (The Venetian). The role will involve the facilitation of the Design process rather than the preparation of the actual designs.
KEY DUTIES:
- Utilizing Design experience and understanding of architectural,
structural and MEP drawings to facilitate design deliverables
- Assist in reviewing and reporting to the client on proposed design
changes and assist the rest of the team in assessing the impact on
cost and time of any changes.
- Assist Design Manager to give advice on constructability and offer
solutions to on-site construction/ interface problems.
- Check and list all tender drawings, specifications and
documentation for completeness
- Providing reports for trade packages
- Ensuring all design related deliverables and completed within
relevant time-scales
- Ad-hoc duties as directed by the Design Manager
KEY SKILLS:
- We are looking for candidates with the following skills and
experience:
- At least 3 years experience of Interior Design in high end
interior fit-out.
- Sector experience within Hotels, Casino’s or Retail
- Preferably a degree in Architecture, Interior Design or Building
