Role: Assistant Project Manager/Deputy Project Manager

Overview: 
The role involves both assisting to manage small additions and alterations works within the mall.A&A projects to assist in managing include shop subdivisions and combinations, Owner operated shop design and fit-out, base build MEP modifications to suit incoming Retailer needs (such as additional plumbing and drainage or power upgrades), duplex creation, front of house mall modifications and any other Retailer related small projects.

Job Description
  • Assist in developing, planning and implementing project and Work with external and internal parties to finalise scope and ensure designs
  • Assist in collaborating with the Mall Management team and other stakeholders such as Procurement, Legal and Facilities Management in order to determine the project requirements and timelines
  • Assist in collaborating externally with Owner appointed Consultants and Contractors to manage the design and deliver the project in a compliant manner within budget
  • Assist in managing Contractors and Consultants to obtain necessary permits and licenses with the appropriate Macau authorities
  • Assist the Retail Coordination Team in determining, applying and managing the project budget
  • Assist in maintaining comprehensive project plan, programme, documentation and reports (as required) for the projects under your management
  • Coordinate the timely handover of projects to stakeholders
  • Assist in overseeing and liaising with contractors, ensuring that work is carried out as per specifications and with minimal disruption to mall operations
  • Ensure that all works comply with both the local building codes and safety regulations and safety standards
  • Monitor and manage any risks associated with your specific projects
Qualifications
  • Construction related degree (e.g. Project Management, Construction Management, Design, Engineering, Building Science etc) or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Assistant project manager or coordinator with additions & alterations
  • experience in a live environment being essential
  • 3+ years required with experience in retail/mall environment preferred
  • Strong communication skills in both Cantonese and English
  • Good knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Proficiency in MS Project preferred
  • Ability to multitask and manage various project elements simultaneously
