Senior Project Manager (Retail Coordinator)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Retail Coordination Team in Macau, based in Cotai. The successful candidate will act as single point of contact for Client projects, reporting to the Country Director and Client’s representative. The successful candidate will be responsible to manage the Retail Coordination Team, ensuring the effective delivery of our Client’s shopping mall project.
Summary of Position:
To manage the team members and take responsibility of the day to day delivery of Retailer Coordination for assigned Retailers and ensure the effective delivery of the Retail Coordination, Client liaison and supervision of other staff on the project. Provide support management to your Senior Retail Coordination Manager, and complete other tasks associated to the Retail Coordination as determined by the Senior Retail Coordination of our client’s shopping mall project.
Responsibilities:
· Manages the Retail Coordination Team personnel for all aspects of the delivery, reporting to the Client.
· Prepares and supervises team members to prepare master schedules and timelines, including key event schedules, delivery and design programmes.
· Manages and supervises the team to ensure clear coordination of Client/site/project meetings, and issuance of agendas, meeting minutes etc.
· Manages and supervises the team to ensure there is a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities, communication protocols and team objectives.
· Allocates duties and responsibilities to the internal team and supervises as needed.
· Ensures programmes and countdown schedules are fully coordinated with the Client and Retail Coordination Team then communicated to all parties.
· Visits site throughout the project in order to monitor progress of the project and take action where necessary to correct non compliance.
· Supervises and where necessary, prepares and issues Client Progress Reports and recommendations.
Key Requirement:
We are looking for candidates with the following requirement and experience:
· Degree in Design, Building, Project Management, Business or equivalent;
· Member of professional bodies preferred;
· Minimum 8 years' of experience, 5 years of which must be gained in handling large-scale commercial property projects, either in project development or building management field;
· Experience in managing large, up-scale shopping malls in Hong Kong or Macau will be a definite advantage;
· A problem solver and self-motivated personality;
· Excellent management, communication and interpersonal skills;
· Good PC and language skills (English, Cantonese and Mandarin);
· Knowledge in AutoCAD will be a plus;
· Candidates with less experience can be considered as Project Manager
